During this event, families gather their loved ones for an uplifting musical program featuring beautiful bhajans in praise of Mata Rani, the divine mother. The purpose of this auspicious program is to seek the Goddess’s blessings and remove any obstacles that might arise in upcoming sacred ceremonies.
The celebration is marked by deep devotion and enthusiasm, reflecting the profound reverence for the divine feminine in Hindu culture. One of the highlights of this event is the flower decoration of the darbar, which adds to the sacred atmosphere, complemented by the rhythmic beats of dholak and manjeera, and the melodies of electronic keyboards and other instruments.
The event concludes with Maa ki Aarti and the distribution of prasad, followed by a Bhandara—a satvik meal prepared without onion or garlic.
